My journey of performing while recording my spring shows began this week at the really cool upgraded and reimagined hotel named Campfire Hotel off of 3rd street in Bend, Oregon’s central district.
It really is a special place and it’s amazing how much of a magical vibe the entire facility offers for guests. According to their website: “The Campfire Hotel in Bend, Oregon is a newly-renovated, rustic landing spot for your epic outdoor adventures. This 100-room boutique hotel motor lodge provides edgy, affordable, and fun accommodations while keeping community, design, and value at the forefront.”
While playing my acoustic set I watched the people enjoy roasting marshmallows and drinking canned beer while talking with each other as travelers. The night ended with people dancing to a couple covers by The Beatles and Louis Jordan - Choo choo ch'boogie. I learned the song performing with People Power Band and people sure do love it!
Super Place and SUPER NIGHT.
