New Release: Ghost of Brian Craig Vol. 4: Flights Wine Bar

What started as a fun project in 2022 to record my local live performances has blossomed into a performing/recording/publishing method that I’m now calling “immersive live.”

The concept is to publish the songs and include the natural sounds of where I perform the music to give the listener a snapshot of time and place. I love the hum of voices, clanks of silverware with all of the sounds of cooks frying up dinner orders the kitchen in the background while I perform the music.

What’s new about this version of Ghost of Brian Craig which was recorded at Flights Wine Bar in Bend, Oregon on January 14, 2023 is I’ve added a couple covers to this EP release. I wanted to learn the process of ensuring that both Pink Floyd and Louis Jordan get their fair share of royalties from me distributing and selling music that they wrote and performed. I needed to get a mechanical license for both of the songs.
