New Song - Soul Man (Acoustic Cover)

I’m learning some audience-favorite tunes for my parts signing in People Power Band, which is a 9-piece Jazz-influenced project based in Palo Alto, California.

I think that you don’t truly learn a song until you dissect it and put it back together. This is my attempt to perform the song as a soloist. The fun part is bending it, knowing you are limited by the type of instrumentation. It is a super fun song and I think I enjoyed the portrayal of it (and the key) when featured in The Blues Brothers. So, here it is.
